This illustration is part of a four posters series designed to promote -Procesos y Formas- an illustration, sketching and digital drawing workshop given by our friend and great illustrator Choper Nawers at Color 75 grados, Mexico City. (The other posters were illustrated by Choper Nawers, Manuel Hidalgo and Ivan Mayorquin).

The process was quite simple, fun and spontaneous. Inspired by the characters of Choper Nawers, we create a little story (based on the Mexican tradition of putting scissors under the pillow of the newborn, to avoid being sucked or abducted by witches) where we imagine a witch creating a kind of eclipse, trying to cheat a little bear to eat him later, but as in all cases some kind presence will defend him.

    PLUS.
This illustration is a nod to conserve and enhance our traditions reinterpreted them in new symbols.
